Systems and People is committed to protecting your privacy. As a provider of SAP professionals, we are required to collect personal information and make use of this information. We will ensure that the information we collect and store is treated with confidentiality and security.
Information we collect about you
Systems and People generally collects some or all of the following personal information about you:
- your name; address and contact details;
- your employment history and qualifications;
- referee and third party opinions;
- any other information that you have supplied on your resume or in communications with us.
Sometimes we may ask to collect particular personal information about you. Unless we have already done so, when we collect the information, we will take reasonable steps to inform you of:
- the purposes for which the information is being collected;
- where applicable, any law requiring the information to be collected; and
- the main consequences if all or part of the information is not provided.
Why we collect your personal information
Systems and People will use your information in a way that is consistent with, or directly related to, the purpose for which it was collected, such as finding employment.
Systems and People collects personal information to allow us to:
- determine if you are suitable for a position;
- contact you if a position becomes available that you may be interested in;
- with your consent, submit your details to a client for a vacant position;
- comply with government legislation;
- where appropriate, administer our obligations to you as a contractor management service company;
- administer payments to you and;
- disseminate company information to you
Disclosure of your personal information
Systems and People will not provide your personal information to a prospective employer without your consent, which you may provide verbally or in writing.
As a general rule, Systems and People will not provide personal information to any other third parties except:
- where required by law;
- to related companies of Systems and People, for the same kinds of purposes as listed above;
- to ensure continuity of service, to another company if the supply of the product or service has been transferred to that company;
- to third parties engaged to provide services in connection with the purposes mentioned above (eg: external auditors, superannuation and training);
- where you have provided consent for an associated company of Systems and People to obtain your personal information (eg taxation, financial planning); and
- if it is otherwise permitted or required by the Privacy Act or any other law.
How to access, correct or update your personal information
All personal information kept about you is available at any time via direct email request. To access your information, send an email to admin@systemsandpeople.com.au with details of your request.
If your personal information changes please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to update your information. We may also contact you from time to time to check your information is up to date.
Security of your personal information
Systems and People have procedures in place to keep secure any information we hold about you (in both computer based and paper based formats), and we take reasonable measures to keep this information accurate and up to date.
